My Role at BCS Wealth Management

My role at BCSWM is to work within the team of financial advisors to create and monitor customized and comprehensive financial plans for individuals and families. We work with clients in various stages of their financial life and no two clients are the same. It is important to us to get to know our clients’ unique situation, financial fears, and goals so that we can provide them with peace of mind and confidence in their financial situation. In addition to financial planning, I assist with client care and outreach, trading, reporting, and research .

Education and Experience

I graduated summa cum laude from East Tennessee State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in Corporate Finance and Investments and a minor in management. I was part of The University Honors Scholar Program at ETSU and received Presidential Honors. During my senior year, I completed an honors thesis: “Risk-Return Dynamics Using Leveraged ETF Options.” This research was later used in the article “Leveraged ETF Option Barbells” published in The Journal of Beta Investment Strategies. I will graduate in 2024 with my Master in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University.

Community Involvement and Personal Notes

I grew up in the Tri Cities and love the area. My husband and I live in Johnson City. As a former gymnast, I continue to connect with the community and the sport by coaching recreational and competitive gymnastic classes in Kingsport. When I am not spending time in the mountains, I enjoy visiting the coast of South Carolina with family and friends.
