My Role at BCS Wealth Management
My role is to help clients meet their life goals through financial planning and investment management. Each person’s situation and ambitions are different and may change over time. These goals may include enjoying a fruitful retirement, helping a child with education expenses, or creating a legacy. I enjoy building deep relationships with our clients, truly understanding their goals, and helping bring those goals to reality through financial planning and investment management. I also love serving our clients holistically alongside the rest of our team of professionals to ensure their needs are met across all aspects of financial, estate, risk and tax planning.
Education and Experience
I graduated from Milligan University in 2001 with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. Shortly after graduation I acquired my FINRA securities licenses, and I have dedicated my entire career of over 20 years to the personal financial and wealth management industry. I returned to Milligan in 2006 to obtain my Master of Business Administration degree. In 2016 I completed the Retirement Management Advisor® designation which focuses on outcome-based solutions for financial planning.
Community Involvement and Personal Notes
My wife and I have two sons and whether we are spending time at a ball field, travelling, or just relaxing at home, we love family time! I enjoy coaching my sons’ youth baseball and basketball teams and have served on the Johnson City American Little League board since 2016. Having grown up in Indiana, I am an avid fan of the Indy 500 and have only missed attending the race once since 1988!
My family are active members of Boones Creek Christian church where I have served many roles including elder, deacon, and adult Sunday School teacher. Early in my career, I was also active in the Kingsport Jaycees.
